June 14th 2013 – JBH TV visited The Gemelli Shop at 307 N. Roberston Blvd in Beverly Hills for a night celebrating Father’s Day with The Gentleman’s Closet Style Haus. Check out our exclusive video below.
Father’s in Fashion Extravaganza Weekend is dedicated to celebrating gentlemen and that are fathers in the fashion industry and fathers who follow it. Designer, stylist and father Manny J Style, founder of The Gentleman’s Closet, envisioned an occasion that observed the value of fathers and father figures along with offering refined entertainment that the urbane fashion forward man would enjoy.

Hardy Amies men’s resort 2014 runway show, unveiled during London fashion week.

Hardy Amies’ spring collection had a suave, smooth 50’s feel and a punchy palette of retro hues that bring to mind the iconic cinematic posters of Saul Bass, the American graphic designer famous for his sleek and snappy brightly colored cartoons. Bass became the go-to artist for all the movie industry giants of the era Hitchcock, Kubrick and Scorsese. The palette of gray, navy, taupe, cream and fiery orange conjured up the dapper elegance of a bygone era. Peppered with scholarly sophistication and swanky, jet-setting polish, the collection oozed 50’s Hollywood style. – MyTherapistToldMeToWriteaFashionBlog.com

If you’re visiting Beverly Hills this summer and need a quiet spot that’s somewhat off the grid, you should definitely try the new SIRTAJ Hotel. Literally steps away our Jason of Beverly Hills boutique, you can shop till you drop and have somewhere to leave all those JBH bags full of diamond goodies while you head back out to do some sightseeing on Rodeo Drive. Experience a taste of India with our new neighbors as well as the 32 room hotel’s luxurious accommodations.
A chic, sexy retreat with a scent of spice and a nod to the east, SIRTAJ eschews the notion of snobbery and invokes the ideals of atithi seva–Indian hospitality – in which the hosting of a guest is an honor. The name SIRTAJ is a variation of the Indian sartaj–meaning “highest crown”, an aptly-named title for Beverly Hills’ most singular boutique hotel.
The 32-room property, designed by Santa Monica-based firm Akar Studios, is a haven of sleek simplicity with subtle hints of exotic inspiration. A color palette of citron and persimmon is grounded in field of light creamy -taupe. Modern, clean lines are softened with warm woods, strategic lighting and water features.
The 32 guest rooms feature glass accent walls etched with a subtle paisley pattern. Bathrooms are marked by dramatic porcelain and glass tile inspired by pigment colors seen in miniature Indian paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries – colors symbolizing festivity and the celebration of life. Fine linens, robes and slippers, Lavazza espresso/coffee makers, 42” flat screen Samsung Smart TV’s, and iPod docking stations are just the start of the minor luxuries – supplied as necessities.

“A GENTLEMAN is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find…” – The Saturdays
Its the weekend, and we thought we’d kick off the day with this cute video from London pop group, The Saturdays for their new single “Gentleman”. The ladies are serving it up Desperate Housewives style in this girl anthem about how to spot the difference between a man and a dog.
In the video, their male alter-egos ultimately win them over and by the looks of it, a little Gentleman swag goes a long way. Check out the vid below and look out for pieces from of our men’s accessory collection, GENTLEMAN: David Thomas x JBH; available now at Jason of Beverly Hills.
Sigh, 1995 was a good year…vK

Vegas is known for its wild nightlife, so its a no-brainer that many of their popular casinos house some of the best nightclubs on the globe. One of my personal faves is Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. They opened their velvet ropes during the hotel’s grand opening back in 2010 with guests such as Rihanna, Diddy and Jay Z. I have to say that their New Years Eve party will go down in history as one biggest “turn-ups” ever!
Marquee ranks at the top of the list of clubs to experience in Vegas according to an article from the Huffington Post; definitely the place you want to be.
Recently named the hottest club on the planet by GQ Magazine, this 60,000 square-foot, ultra-modern venue promises to deliver a Vegas clubbing experience of the grandest proportions. The Cosmopolitan’s Marquee regularly hosts some the biggest names in house music like Armin van Buuren, Benny Benassi, Kaskade, and many more—who spin with some of the best sound equipment in the world within a 40-foot LED DJ booth. Drinks can be pricey (where aren’t they in Vegas?) and lines can be long, but for those seeking a quintessential Vegas night out with the cool kids, the Marquee is hard to beat. If house music isn’t your thing, head to the hip-hop room below or the rooftop pool. The Marquee Dayclub is a popular option in the summertime, and comes complete with luxurious cabanas, infinity pools, and an outrageously fun atmosphere.

Our Jason of Beverly Hills Boutique inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel is only a shouts distance from Marquee, so be sure to stop by before you get the party started! ~vK
